Exhibitions for the Transportation Industry
Transportation has always been an intrical part of human activity, for as long has humans have existed there has been a need to travel. As the years have passed the transport industry has evolved beyond recognition, and with the constant development of new technologies and ideas, it will continue to do so for years to come. Below are some of the exhibitions held to expose and facilitate this progression:
Transport Security Expo, London
This in an international event held with the main aim of ensuring that transport of commercial and public nature is as resilient and secure as possible. Experts from all different types of travel gather to discuss and share the most recent developments. The main features include a technology exhibition and a workshop programme.
ECO2 Transport and Travel, London
This exhibition is dedicated to the promotion and development of transport which is environmentally friendly. The event has a mixture of public and private sector presence which is somewhat of a rarity and makes the event important for both keeping up to date with current legislation as well as for networking. Entrance is free and the features include a series of speeches. (Information on getting to London).
Trans Middle East, Bahrain
This annual show is concerned with ports, shipping and the logistics trade in general. It is a commercial event at which approx 500 delegates attend to view the products and services of around 80 international companies. There is also a series of speeches from top level executives in the industry.
The car making industry has changed the world significantly in the past century, although it has recently been placed under a lot of pressure as a result of the global financial recession. Despite this, the car industry accounts for a significant proportion of the economy, and there is a requirement for high level meetings to discuss the issues affecting the industry, including the supply chain, which always has been and always will be the facilitator behind the success of the automotiveindustry. Automotive Logistics Global is a keymeeting in this respect.
Automotive Logistics Global will be held at the Henry in Michigan at the end ofSeptember and offers many attractivefeatures for the visitor. Firstly, the networking opportunities are genuinely fantastic.
There are a number of events within the show which are designed specifically to encourage and facilitate networking, including a cocktail reception at the start of the show, business lunches and a business dinner. Of course, the show itself is one massive networking opportunity with people able to mingle and walk amongst the exhibitions, whilst the various talks, seminars and conferences enable one to meet plenty of people with a shared interest. The Mid Conference Gala is the most high profile social event of the meeting and is held in the Henry Ford Museum.
The feel of Automotive Logistics Global is very much one of corporate progression, there is not much in terms of commercial marketing and there is no interaction with customer. The show is designed specifically to address all issued relating to the automotive supply chain.
