British International Freight Associated (BIFA)
Any British company which transports freight internationally should look into acquiring membership of this association. The association provides its members with advice, guidance, training and development amongst many other things.
International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations
This is a representative agency which represents around 40,000 firms. It is non-governmental yet has a significant influence in the United Nations and is widely considered to be the main representative figure in this respect. The main objective
of the industry is to protect the interests of the freight industry. Any freight company should definitely look to become member of this association as there are few which can have such a significant impact on wider scale operational issues at such a high level.
Road Haulage Association (RHA)
Members of the Road Haulage Association is association can save money due to its influential power on an international scale. This is an association where road haulage firms can come together to voice their opinion as one hugely influential group.
Freight Transport Association (FTA)
The Freight Transport Association is a company which represents the interests of companies moving goods, regardless the mode. This can be on a regional, national or international level.
