If you are considering exporting goods from China to another country, it is important to first be well informed with the regulations concerning China’s Freight such as the documentation required, licenses, procedures and strategies involved.
Once you have decided on your destination and on the kind of goods that you would like to send from China, you will need to verify that none of the goods that you are exporting come under the banned Exportable goods section of the People’s Republic of China.

If you are exporting perishables or live specimens of plants and animals orvaluable items like jewellery, you may require a special license for this freight. Securing the correct license is a very important aspect for exporting goods from China.

Exporters will need to furnish themselves with all the necessary documentation not only for the goods to exit the country but also to comply with the regulations of the destination country. It is advisable to check the country’s Incoterms as created by the International Chamber of Commerce to better understand the documentation involved and the terms and codes used in the procedure.

One of the best ways to export items from China is via ship, although air transport is also equally reliable and is thrice as fast. You can also opt to use a freight forwarder to transport your goods to its destination, although it is necessary to ensure that you select a reputed and experienced agency and then verify the company’s credentials with existing customers before signing with them. It is also advisable to insure your freight, especially if you are transporting a large shipment of goods or a particularly valuable set of items.
