Guide to the TRANS MIDDLE EAST - Manama (Bahrain) exhibition

The Trans Middle East is an annual trade conference that showcases the container ports, logistics and shipping industry. It is the biggest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and takes place in Manama, Bahrain at the Gulf International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Trans Middle East is a two day event that takes place every year in the month of November and is organised by the the Transport Events Management Limited, a company based in the Middle East. The first Trans Middle East took place in the year 2005 to facilitate the growth of shipping and freight transport in the region.

The exhibition will feature a number of exhibitors who are leaders in the industry; these will include attendees from various airfreight companies, ship owners, freight forwarders, shipbrokers, port authorities, insurance companies, inspection authorities, trading houses, finance companies, software developers, shipyards, ship management consultants and logistics companies. At the exhibition, the focus will be placed on the latest trends in the industry, new technologies and a study of the future prospects of the industry as perceived by the key decision makers.

The Trans Middle East event is only open to trades people, which include service providers, officials from the chamber of commerce, apex bodies and government officials. Port investors, infrastructure development agents, ship distributors, ship suppliers, port associations and other high ranking officials from the shipping, logistics and container ports industry are also expected to attend the event.

In addition to the exhibition, Trans Middle East also features a conference where the leading authorities in the field highlight the latest trends and issues in the industry and outline various strategies to deal with them. There will also be a discussion section which will review developments in the cargo shipping industry as well as intermodal logistics.
