InnoTrans International Exhibition for Transportation Engineering - (Freight Events)

The InnoTrans International Exhibition for Transportation Engineering, also known as the InnoTrans International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, Innovative Components, Vehicles and Systems, is an international trade fair focusing on the transport engineering industry. Held annually in Berlin, the event takes place at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds in the month of September from the 21st to the 24th.

Berlin, the home of more than 220 transport technology enterprises and several reference projects, is ideal venue for this international trade fair. The InnoTrans International Exhibition for Transportation Engineering provides a common platform for importers, exporters and those involved in the freight and passenger transport industry to meet and interact with ach other, while learning about the latest technological advances in transportation engineering.

One of the most interesting features of this event is a static display of rail vehicles outside its exhibition halls. Other key features of the InnoTrans event include exhibits and stalls focussing on industry sectors like railway interiors, infrastructure, tunnel construction and public transportation. 

The international trade fair is usually held along with an InnoTrans Convention, which usually features a dialogue forum sponsored by the German Transport Forum, the Association of German Transport Companies and the German Rail Industry. A round-table conference titled “International Tunnel Forum,” sponsored by Incorporated Association for Underground Transport Systems, is also form part of the event. 

A wide range of transportation technology products such as passenger and freight rail vehicles, couplings, bearings, brakes, interior fittings, local and regional buses and passenger information systems will be on display at the event. Attendees of the event will also be able to note the latest developments in fare management, freight traffic logistics, energy supply systems, interior finishing and construction products.

This event is meant for public and private transport firms and is attended by hundreds of exhibitors including suppliers and manufacturers of transport technology, geologists, miners, engineers and scientists.
